STUDIO REGISTRATION: Melfort Monday, August 29. 2-9 Shirley's House of Dancewear will be present from 4-8 p.m. for all your shoe and dancewear needs. St. Brieux, Tuesday, August 30. (Shirleys will come to St. Brieux in early September.)
Pre-Registration is very important!! Please take a moment to fill it out and return it. It will really help to have a schedule in place which will make it much easier to avoid other scheduling conflicts and make registration run a little quicker.
By filling out and sending the attached pre-registration form for the 11/12 dance season, you will spend less time waiting to have your form filled out at registration and your child's spot in their classes will be reserved. There were very long lineups at previous Registration nights – we will have a SEPARATE LINE for all pre-registered students. For more info e-mail dancentre@sasktel.net.
Classes will be held Mon through Thurs this season. Once again we will offer an all-boys hip hop class if there is sufficient numbers enrolled – this could be an all-year program or simply an 8 week session dependant on interest! 8-10 week sessions will be available for 3 year old classes and adult classes provided there is sufficient enrollment.
**ALL Students are also strongly encouraged to take ballet**. Technique is very important and aids in the prevention of injuries. All competition soloists must partake in ballet and/or technique/exam classes.
REMINDER: Any students ages 9+ have the opportunity to enhance their dance education by enrolling in technique/exam classes as well as general classes. These classes are held from the beginning of the year until the exam is completed. This is great even if you don’t participate in the exam. If you are unsure whether your child is eligible for this program, simply check it and we will discuss it further during registration.
